Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of puppies.therealdoodleco.com and our related pages and forms (the “Site”), and your application for and purchase of a puppy from The Real Doodle Co. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or submitting an application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to submit an application or purchase a puppy. By using the Site, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally able to enter into these Terms.

2. Applications & Reservations

Submitting an application is a request to be considered — it is not a confirmed reservation and does not create a binding sale. A puppy is reserved for you only after we approve your application and receive your deposit. We reserve puppies on a first-come, first-served basis and will confirm your reservation directly.

3. Deposits

A deposit is required to reserve a specific puppy. All deposits are non-refundable. Your deposit is applied toward the total purchase price of your puppy and holds that puppy for you. If you decide not to move forward after placing a deposit, the deposit is not returned.

4. Price & Payment

The purchase price of each puppy is stated on the Site and is inclusive of the items we describe as included. Once you have reserved a puppy with a deposit, the price for that puppy is locked. The remaining balance is due before or at the time you take your puppy home. Prices for unreserved puppies may change at any time.

5. Pickup & Delivery

You may pick up your puppy locally in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area, or we can meet you within the radius we describe on the Site. In-cabin flight delivery to your nearest applicable airport is available for the optional flat fee stated on the Site. Delivery arrangements and timing are coordinated with you directly and may be affected by the puppy’s health, weather, or airline requirements.

6. Health & Care

Our puppies are examined by a licensed veterinarian and are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming before they go home. Any health guarantee we offer is set out in a separate written purchase or health agreement provided at the time of sale, and that agreement governs those terms. Once a puppy is in your care, you are responsible for its health, veterinary care, and well-being.

7. Right to Refuse

We care deeply about placing our puppies in the right homes. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to refuse, decline, or cancel any application, reservation, or sale, or to decline to place a puppy with any person, for any reason we consider appropriate, except as prohibited by applicable law. If we cancel a confirmed reservation on our own initiative (rather than because you chose not to proceed), we will refund any deposit you paid for that reservation.

8. Communications & Consent

By providing your contact information, you consent to receive calls, text messages, and emails from us about your inquiry, as described in our Privacy Policy. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, and opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link.

9. Acceptable Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or submit false or misleading information. We may suspend or restrict access to the Site at any time.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, photos, videos, logos, and graphics — is owned by The Real Doodle Co. or its licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without our prior written permission.

11. Disclaimers

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind regarding the Site, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Real Doodle Co. and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising out of your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Real Doodle Co. and its owners from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Iowa, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
